Described by Rossini as "the last mortal sin of my old age", Rossini saw no reason why sacred music should wear a pious and penitential frown. Concert Diary
Lesley-Jane’s concert diary has always exhibited an eclectic mix of engagements, serving to demonstrate her wide-ranging vocal skills and the enormous variety of musical styles she undertakes.
Post lockdown, concert bookings have been fewer, but she has remained in demand for recordings and continues to receive favourable reviews:
”Lesley-Jane Rogers’ soaring soprano voice is crystal clear and a perfect vehicle for the lovely songs.”
Steve Arloff, MusicWeb International, September 2024 , reviewing 'Thomas Pitfield - His Friends & Contemporaries' CD
Her Past Concerts page illustrates not only a fascinating mix of composers, but also the typical demand for “greats”.
